Kanazawa University Pride Parade Team members wanted!

Four days from October 18 to 21, “Kanazawa Pride Week 2024 (organized by Kanazawa Rainbow Pride)” will be held in Kanazawa city under the theme of “You Are Not Alone.” This is the fourth time this event has been held, and this year, Noto reconstruction support event are also planned.
Kanazawa University has launched the Kanazawa University Pride Parade Team centered on Institute for Promotion of Diversity and Inclusion, and we are planning to participate in the parade and exhibit a booth on October 20.
We are looking for participants who liven up Pride Week with us by walking in the parade and interacting with visitors at the booth.
※Details of the parade and booth will be announced after the call for applications from the sponsoring organization.

※Meeting place, time and other details will be announced once the schedule is decided.

【Main Activities】
You can select the activities you want to participate in (multiple choices possible).

１．Walking together in the Pride Parade
In the Pride Parade, we celebrate sexual diversity and walk together under the slogan, “Happy Pride!”

２．Booth operation support
Decorate the booth and respond to participants and visitors. We will introduce both Institute for Promotion of Diversity and Inclusion’s and Kanazawa University Pride Parade Team’s activities at the booth.

【Eligibility】
Students, staff, and all faculty members of Kanazawa University and their families or partner. （Including affiliated high school students.）
