Exchange event held with Princeton University and other U.S. university students!
On July 4, an exchange event was held with students from the PII (Princeton in Ishikawa) program. 22 students from the PII program and 22 students from Kanazawa University participated. Following a welcome speech by Prof. Akira OTA, Vice Director of the International Centre for Japan Studies and Education, a student representative from Kanazawa University introduced our university in English. Following the introduction, a representative of PII students gave a speech in Japanese.
After that, the participants were divided into groups and discussed the themes set by each group. At the end of the session, representatives from each group made a presentation on the topics they had discussed. The participants engaged in deep exchanges in a pleasant atmosphere from start to finish.
※PII (Princeton in Ishikawa) is a summer program for students from Princeton University, Yale University, Harvard University, etc. to study Japanese language and culture while staying with host families in Ishikawa Prefecture for two months.
